Dr Caroline Whymark graduated in medicine from the University of Glasgow (1995) and qualified as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management in 2004. Currently working 80% in the NHS. Caroline has a regular commitment to the Pain management service. As a recognised GMC trainer, she remains up to date, having written one book and co-authored two others in her field. 

Medio-Legal Experience

Caroline has attained the Diploma in Legal Medicine and attended 2-day training with InspireMedica, providing 90 reports per year for personal injury and clinical negligence (90:10 approx.). Caroline provides clear reports using concise jargon free language. Instructed by the claimant in the majority of personal injury cases and around 50:50 from each side in clinical negligence, providing reports for the Central Legal Office (Scotland), NHS Resolution (England) and medical defence companies.
